1. Processing characteristics
For the processing parts that are frame-shaped planes or steps of different heights, a CNC milling machine with a point-to-linear system can be selected. If the processing part is a curved surface contour, the two-coordinate linkage and three-coordinate linkage system should be selected according to the geometric shape of the curved surface. According to the requirements of parts processing, a CNC dividing head or a CNC rotary table can be added to the general CNC milling machine. At this time, the machine tool system is a four-coordinate CNC system, which can process spiral grooves, blade parts, etc.
2. Size
For a CNC machine with a lifting table of smaller specifications, the width of the worktable is mostly below 400mm. It is most suitable for the processing of small and medium-sized parts and the contour cutting of complex surfaces. For a larger specification such as a gantry-type machine, the worktable is above 500-60mm, which is used to solve the processing needs of large-sized complex parts.
3. Accuracy
my country has formulated the accuracy standards for CNC milling machines, among which CNC vertical milling machines and lifting table milling machines have professional standards. The standard stipulates that the positioning accuracy of its linear motion coordinates is 0.4300mm, the repeated positioning accuracy is 0.25mm, and the precision is 0.5mm. In fact, the factory accuracy of machine tools has a considerable reserve, which is about 20% less than the tolerance value of the national standard. Therefore, from the perspective of accuracy selection, general CNC milling machines can meet the processing needs of most parts. For parts with higher precision requirements, you should consider using precision CNC milling machines.
4. Batch
For large quantities of items, special machines can be used. If it is a small or medium batch and is often repeatedly put into production, then the use of CNC machine tools is very appropriate, because the multi-tool fixtures, programs, etc. prepared in the new batch can be stored and reused. From a long-term perspective, it is inevitable that milling machines with a high degree of automation will replace ordinary milling machines to reduce the workload of workers and increase productivity.
